Happy July 4th!

Happy Birthday America!  We had a grand celebration today.   We have a skate ramp in our backyard, so it was quite appropriate for us to host a skate party for July 4th.  We had burgers and hot dogs, grilled corn, my famous bean dip, yummy watermelon, brownies that were to die for, tons of chips, and veggies with ranch dip.  The kids made messes, ran around aimlessly yelling, played dress up, and had an absolute blast.  The adults had a great time hanging out, talking, eating too many brownies, and just enjoying the company.  Only a select few made it to the party, but they really made it awesome.

As a result of last minute party planning at our house, I didn't do anything craft wise the past day or so.  I've been mainly running errands, taking care of my parents' cats, trying not to kill plants with my lack of knowledge, and playing with Ryder pants Mcgee.  Beth came over bearing presents today and I think that is actually where I am going to start tomorrow project wise.  I'm going to look through the magazines she brought over, but more importantly, I may try and sew some outdoor cushions with the vinyl tablecloth she donated to my stash today.  We shall see.

Anyways, I'm pooped and heading up to bed, so I'll have to post more on that front tomorrow.  Hope everyone enjoyed the fireworks!  I know we did!
